When creating a scheduled PendoPay payment, you’ll sometimes notice that you aren’t able to select the 1st day of the current month.  This is because PendoPay payments can’t be back dated.

If you want to create a recurring monthly payment but the 1st of the month (or any date that you want to use) has already passed, the best sequence would be:

1. Create a one-time payment for the current month.  This is only if you still need to collect payment for the current month if you haven’t already done this outside of PendoPay.

2. Schedule a recurring monthly payment for the 1st of the following month.
