How does a tenant complete a lease application?
Upon sending a lease to your tenant, a digital application will be sent to the tenants email within minutes. They click on the green button – Complete Rental Application:
The tenant will be redirected to their web browser to complete the application. Pendo uses dynamic forms which means the tenant can fill out the application right in their browser on a computer or a phone. There is no PDF documents to print and sign. All the paperwork is completed digitally!
All required fields have orange text. The next button will activate in blue when they can proceed to the next page.
If you are a LandlordBC member (available only to Landlords with properties in British Columbia, Canada), a different lease will be displayed. To view this lease form, please click here. Pendo leases can be modified with the wording of your choice and saved as a template.
Once the lease is submitted, the Landlord will receive an email notification from Pendo and a copy of the lease will be saved to the Pendo platform under the tenant/property card and Activity Feed. The tenant will also automatically receive a copy of the application via email.
